For added peace of mind, the KONA Electric has been equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems ensuring a safe and convenient driving and parking experience.
Auto Central Door Lock
The central locking system makes it possible to lock or unlock all vehicle's doors, the liftgate or the luggage compartment lid simultaneously. This can be done mechanically by locking one of the front doors using the key or by locking the doors from inside the vehicle.
Smart Cruise Control
An advanced driver's aid, designed to make freeway driving safer and easier. By scanning the road ahead, the Hyundai Smart Cruise Control system automatically maintains a safe driving distance between you and the traffic ahead and can even account for traffic and slowdowns.
Rear Parking Sensors
The system helps the driver activate the brakes in the event of an impending rear or side collision when pulling away forward from a parallel parking space. It also alerts the driver of the potential for a collision from the rear.
Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC)
Stopping and starting on very steep road can be stressful and potentially dangerous. HAC prevents the car from accidentally rolling backward whenever the brake pedal is released on a hill.

Pixel lights (battery status)
The charging door is located on the top of the front bumper and can be opened or closed by pushing it. The charge level can be easily checked through the pixel indicator in the charging port, and the instant charge button can be pressed for 2 seconds to cancel the scheduled charge and start charging immediately.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)
V2L is the innovative feature of KONA Electric that allows you to plug in electrical devices and appliances into the power outlet from inside or outside of your car. General electric power (230V/120V) is provided inside and outside, and you can use 3.6kVA for 230V power devices and 1.9kVA for 120V power devices.
